Raw Chocolate Cherry Smoothie

Raw cacao is a source of serotonin, dopamine and phenylethylamine – three ingredients to "feeling good". Dark cherries contain more antioxidants than their lighter-hued relatives. A good source of Vitamin C, a very well-known immune booster.

  • Yields: 1 Serving


½ cup frozen dark cherries

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 Tbsp raw cacao powder

1 scoop vanilla protein poweder (whey or plant-based)

1 Tbsp ground flaxseeds


1Blend all the ingredients together in a high-speed blender.

Tip: Look for a whey that is 100% pure isolate, with no artificial sweeteners or additives. Plant-based protein powders such as sprouted brown rice, pumpkin or hemp are also great choices.
