Lori Petryk, RD, M.Sc.
As a veteran communicator, Lori Petryk works to deliver accurate, evidence-based nutrition advice in a style that’s both comprehensive and easy to understand. She presents nutrition seminars to workplaces throughout Calgary, and she’s featured as Health and Science columnist on CBC Calgary evening news.
Lori is also producer and host of Good For You, Good For Our Earth, a Vancouver food and nutrition program seen on SHAW TV and Telus Optik TV. She’s an advocate for sustainable farming practices, and she believes that to nourish our bodies we must also nourish the land that grows our food. Stroller-jogging with her daughter helps Lori maintain a healthy lifestyle and a healthy appetite to enjoy her husband’s delicious cooking!
Lori completed her Undergraduate (Dietetics) and Master’s Degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Manitoba and her dietetic internship program at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg. She’s a member of the College of Dietitians of Alberta and Dietitians of Canada.
